When you witness activity in your area that the community should know about, simply open the IceAlert app. There's no login required and no account needed—the app is ready to use instantly.

Press and hold the large red report button for just 1 second. This brief hold prevents accidental reports. Your approximate location (within a 200m zone) is sent anonymously—we never know your exact position.

Everyone with IceAlert nearby instantly receives a notification and can see the approximate zone on their map. Reports are displayed for 30 minutes and automatically deleted after 1 hour—keeping the map current and relevant.

After submitting a report, there's a 30-second cooldown before you can report again. This prevents spam while still allowing quick follow-up reports if needed.

We add random offset to every location to protect privacy. The red circles on the map show approximate areas, not exact positions. Stay alert in the general area.

In settings, you can adjust your notification radius (1km, 2km, 5km, or 10km) and turn notifications on or off entirely based on your needs.
